Where it came from
Tea With Holger was originally released in 2007 by Benjamin Smith and Daniel Mudd, a production duo celebrated for their distinct take on Balearic beat and organic electronica. The album emerged from the fertile UK underground music scene of the mid-2000s, reflecting a desire to blend intricate, downtempo instrumentation with a warm, sun-drenched aesthetic that felt equally at home in a chill-out room or a sunset club setting.
Be With Records reissued this cult classic in 2019 as catalog number BEWITH070LP, aiming to preserve the album's status as a quintessential piece of modern Balearic history for a new generation of listeners. The release stayed true to the duo's original vision, maintaining the atmospheric textures and rhythmic subtlety that earned the project critical acclaim upon its initial debut for its sophisticated production and enduring, breezy charm.
