Released in 1969 by Disneyland Records, Winnie l’Ourson et l’Arbre à Miel serves as the French-language adaptation of the soundtrack for the 1966 Disney short film Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. As part of the Disneyland 'Little LP' series, or 'Le Petit Livre d’Or' in France, the release was designed to bring the narrative experience of Disney animation into the home environment. It features a bilingual-style integration of storytelling and music, formatted as a book-and-record set that encouraged young readers to follow along with the illustrations while listening to the audio drama.

The illustrations for this release were produced by Gaëtan Jor, a prolific artist noted for his work on various Disney licensed products and comic adaptations throughout the mid-twentieth century.
