Where it came from
Released in 1994 by Som Livre, Xegundo Xou Da Xuxa represents the peak of Xuxa Meneghel's dominance in the Latin American children's music market. Following the massive success of her previous albums, this record was produced to accompany her television programming, which served as a cultural phenomenon for a generation of youth in Brazil. It captured the high-energy, synthesizer-driven pop sound that defined her brand, blending educational themes with upbeat arrangements designed for broadcast play.
The album's visual identity and musical production were curated by the creative teams at Som Livre, focusing on bright, accessible aesthetics intended to maintain her image as the 'Queen of the Little Ones.' The design reflects the mid-nineties era of children's entertainment, featuring vibrant cover art that emphasizes Xuxa's persona. Upon its release, it was met with significant commercial success within the domestic market, solidifying its place as a staple of the expansive Xou da Xuxa multimedia franchise.
