Dark Revelation Volume 2 was released by Konami in 2005 as a comprehensive reprint set designed to provide players with easier access to cards that had previously appeared in expansion sets like Magician's Force, Pharaonic Guardian, and Ancient Sanctuary. By consolidating these high-demand cards into a single volume, the set allowed the competitive landscape to stabilize by increasing the circulation of essential utility and support spells.

The card numbered DR2-EN204 belongs to this re-release structure, appearing as a common-rarity reprint. Like many cards included in the Dark Revelation series, its design reflects the original aesthetic of its inaugural set, prioritizing functional legibility for tournament play. While the artwork and mechanics remained identical to their debut, the set provided a distinct white-border aesthetic that characterizes the reprint era of the game.
