Adhesion Trap Hole was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2008 as part of the Duel Terminal 1 set. This release was notable for its connection to the unique Duel Terminal arcade cabinet machines found in Japan, which allowed players to scan physical cards to control their monsters in digital battles.
