Amazon of the Seas

Amazon of the Seas was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Astral Pack series, specifically appearing in Astral Pack Six in 2014. These packs were created by Konami primarily for use in sanctioned tournament prize support, serving as a way to distribute reprints of cards to competitive players. This specific card represents a Normal Monster from the earlier eras of the game, highlighting the aesthetic transition toward water-themed mythological archetypes that were common in the franchise's foundational sets.

The card features artwork consistent with the series' stylized approach to fantasy characters, emphasizing a balance of oceanic motifs and martial character design. As a Common rarity card, it was designed to be widely accessible to players rather than a chase item for collectors. Its inclusion in the Astral Pack cycle reflects the game's broader history of maintaining consistent availability for legacy cards, ensuring that players could acquire classic monsters to complete collections or build themed decks.
