Amazoness Pet Liger

Amazoness Pet Liger was released in 2017 as part of the Circuit Break booster set. It represents a modern expansion of the Amazoness archetype, a theme rooted in the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game that draws inspiration from the legendary warrior women of Greek mythology. This fusion monster was designed to integrate the aggressive, battle-focused playstyle of the archetype with the game's evolving summoning mechanics.

The creature's design reflects the series' aesthetic shift toward more complex, hybrid fantasy concepts, merging feline imagery with the tribal, armored motifs associated with the Amazoness soldiers. As a common rarity card, it was produced to be accessible to a wide audience of players, serving as a tactical support tool rather than a centerpiece chase card. While it did not fundamentally alter the competitive meta, it remains a recognized piece of late-era support for a classic, long-standing character set.
