Amazoness Swords Woman was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Pharaonic Guardian expansion in 2003. The card features an effect that forces the opponent to take any battle damage the player would have received from attacks involving this monster, a mechanic that defined the 'Amazoness' archetype as a tactical, counter-attacking force within the game’s meta.
