Angel of Blue Tears

Angel of Blue Tears was released in the 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors, a commemorative product designed to celebrate two and a half decades of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. This set served as a retrospective compilation, bringing together cards from various core booster sets released in the preceding year, such as Duel Nexus and Age of Overlord. The inclusion of this card within the tin provided players with a more accessible way to obtain the spell, which had previously debuted as a higher-rarity chase card in its original set.

The card features an ethereal, melancholic aesthetic consistent with the 'Blue Tears' archetype's thematic focus on protection and resource recovery. As a spell card, it was designed to support specific strategies by facilitating board presence and mitigating damage, reflecting the game's ongoing mechanical evolution. The artwork maintains the high-detail, illustrative style characteristic of Konami’s design team, aiming to evoke a sense of mystical grace that resonates with the broader lore of the card game's expansive fantasy world.
