Aquaactress Arowana

The Aquaactress Arowana card was released in the 2020 compilation set Dragons of Legend: The Complete Series. It originated from the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, specifically serving as part of the Aquaactress archetype—a water-attribute group of monsters first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime series. The design of these cards draws heavily on aquatic life, utilizing a whimsical, soft aesthetic that contrasts with the typical aggressive designs found in many other sets within the game.

The card was designed to support the mechanical consistency of its archetype, acting as a searcher to retrieve other Aquaactress monsters from the player's deck. While the original debut of the archetype in older expansion sets left them as a niche interest for casual players, this re-release in the Complete Series was intended to make these cards more accessible to a wider audience. The art style, characterized by anthropomorphic aquatic creatures, reflects the thematic focus of the ARC-V era on distinct, personality-driven monster designs.
