Armed Dragon LV3

Armed Dragon LV3 was introduced as part of the Duelist Pack: Chazz Princeton, released to mirror the deck composition of the prominent character Chazz Princeton from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series. The card was designed to function as the entry point for the 'Armed Dragon' evolutionary line, requiring players to tribute the monster during their standby phase to special summon the more powerful LV5 iteration. This mechanic was central to the series' thematic focus on growth and progression, reflecting the character's journey through the ranks of Duel Academy.

The card's artwork features the signature aesthetic established by Kazuki Takahashi and the Konami design team for the GX era, emphasizing a blend of organic dragon traits and mechanical armor. As a common rarity card within the set, it was intended to be highly accessible to players looking to build themed decks based on the anime. It remains a staple for collectors of GX-era cards, serving as a representative example of the leveling monster mechanic that defined the playstyle of the show's early antagonist-turned-rival characters.
