Armed Samurai - Ben Kei

Armed Samurai - Ben Kei was originally released as a Super Rare in the 2003 'Magician's Force' set before appearing as a common in the 2006 'Dark Revelation Volume 3' compilation. The card is based on the legendary Japanese warrior monk Musashibo Benkei, known for his incredible strength and loyalty. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, it was designed as a unique combo-oriented monster that rewards players for equipping it with multiple spell cards, turning a single unit into an overwhelming offensive force.

The card's artwork features Benkei in his characteristic pose, surrounded by the various weapons he famously collected throughout his life. By the time of the Dark Revelation Volume 3 reprint, the card had solidified its place as a cult favorite within the community for its niche but effective 'OTK' (One Turn Kill) deck strategies.
