Armory Call

Armory Call was introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Ignition Assault core booster set, which hit global markets in early 2020. It was designed to support Equip Spell-centric strategies, acting as a search engine that could pull a specific Equip card directly from the deck to the hand, or activate it if the card was already present. This utility made it a functional tool for decks reliant on specific weapon or armor-themed spells.

The card artwork reflects the aesthetic themes of Ignition Assault, featuring a mechanical or magical armament being summoned or prepared. While the specific illustrator is rarely credited publicly due to Konami's internal studio policies, the card follows the standardized visual language established for the game's Common rarity trap cards. Upon its release, it was received as a niche but effective utility card for casual and rogue-tier decks that required consistent access to equip-based mechanics.
