Array of Revealing Light

Array of Revealing Light was introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Dark Beginning 2 set, which was released in the mid-2000s as a compilation set. This set was designed to reprint sought-after cards from earlier expansions, such as Magician's Force and Legacy of Darkness, allowing players to access staple cards that had previously been difficult to acquire. The card itself functions as a Continuous Spell that forces face-down monsters to remain revealed, a tactical utility that became a recognizable part of the game's early strategic landscape.

The card's design and illustration reflect the high-fantasy aesthetic characteristic of early Yu-Gi-Oh! artwork. Featuring a celestial or magical motif, the visual direction was intended to convey the mechanic of exposing hidden information, aligning with the card's effect of stripping away the mystery of the opponent's set monsters. As a common rarity print, the card was widely distributed within the secondary market, serving as a functional tool for casual play and deck building rather than a centerpiece for collectors.
