Artmage Peripeteia -Turmoil-

Artmage Peripeteia -Turmoil- was released as part of the Doom of Dimensions booster set. This series was designed to expand upon the complex spell-casting mechanics central to the game, introducing cards that emphasize battlefield disruption through reactive trap effects. The card was created to serve as a common-rarity utility piece, intended to be accessible to a wide range of players while providing a tactical counter to aggressive deck archetypes.

The illustrative design for the card focuses on the chaotic themes associated with the Artmage archetype, utilizing swirling motifs and arcane imagery to convey the concept of a sudden reversal in game state. Like other cards in the Doom of Dimensions release, it was crafted to integrate seamlessly with the set’s established visual language, prioritizing clarity of function for players seeking to navigate the challenging environment introduced by this expansion.
