Battle Steer

Battle Steer was originally released as part of the Metal Raiders booster set, which debuted in the early 2000s as the second major expansion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. As a normal monster, it represents the foundational gameplay mechanics introduced during the game's initial global expansion, serving as a filler card intended to provide structural support for casual deck building.

The creature features artwork characteristic of the franchise's early aesthetic, blending mechanical and organic elements common in the game's Beast-Warrior type monsters. Designed by the creative team at Konami to bolster the Earth attribute pool, it was well-received by players of the era for its straightforward utility in early tournament formats, though it lacks the complex effects found in later iterations of the game.
