Blade Armor Ninja

Blade Armor Ninja was introduced in the Order of Chaos booster set, released in early 2012 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. As a Rank 4 Xyz Monster, it was designed to support the Ninja archetype by allowing players to utilize its effect to conduct two attacks during each Battle Phase. This card emerged during a period where Konami was actively expanding the utility of Xyz summoning, aiming to give specific deck types specialized offensive tools that could close games quickly.

The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Ninja series, emphasizing a high-tech, armored interpretation of the traditional shinobi. While the specific illustrator at Konami remains uncredited as is standard for the TCG, the design team focused on creating a card that provided aggressive board pressure for Warriors. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its ability to enable effective 'OTK' or 'One Turn Kill' strategies when paired with attack-boosting support cards.
