Blessed Winds

Blessed Winds was originally released in the 2020 core set Rise of the Duelist as part of the Aroma archetype, a group of plant-type monsters focused on gaining life points to trigger secondary effects. As a continuous trap card, it serves as a central engine for the strategy, allowing players to manipulate life points and recycle monsters from the graveyard to the deck. It was designed to provide the consistency and board control necessary for the archetype to function competitively within the game's evolving meta.

The reprint in OTS Tournament Pack 25, which began distribution in early 2024, brought this card into a specialized set curated specifically for tournament-sanctioned play. These packs are provided to stores to distribute as prizes, and cards selected for these sets are often chosen to provide players with accessible versions of functional cards. The design maintains the original aesthetic and mechanical utility, ensuring that the card remains a staple for enthusiasts who focus on plant-based themes.
