Blindly Loyal Goblin

Blindly Loyal Goblin was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Dark Revelation Volume 1 set, released in North America in 2005. This set served as a comprehensive reprint collection, gathering cards from several previous expansions to make them more accessible to the player base. The design of the monster focuses on a specific tactical utility, featuring an effect that prevents it from being destroyed by card effects and locks its position to ensure it remains a reliable defensive screen for its controller.

The card features artwork depicting a diminutive, green-skinned goblin clutching a shield, capturing the archetypal fantasy aesthetic of the early Yu-Gi-Oh! card pool. As a common rarity card within the Dark Revelation series, it was intended to provide players with budget-friendly options for deck building. While it never became a staple in competitive meta-game play, it remains a nostalgic inclusion for collectors who appreciate the foundational design language of the Konami era during the mid-2000s.
