Borreload eXcharge Dragon

Borreload eXcharge Dragon was introduced in the 2019 expansion Rising Rampage, a set that focused on bolstering the Rokket archetype and the overarching Borrel theme within the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. As an Xyz Monster, it represents a departure from the Link Monster dominance of the era, offering a tactical shift for duelists by requiring two Level 4 Dragon monsters to summon, effectively bridging the gap between traditional Xyz strategies and modern dragon-link playstyles.

The card’s design, characterized by its mechanical, armored aesthetic, maintains the industrial draconic look associated with the Borrel series. Illustrations for these cards are produced by the Konami design team, who aimed to emphasize high-stakes combat utility through the monster's ability to manipulate attack points and special summon Rokket monsters from the graveyard. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its reliable removal capabilities and its synergy with existing Rokket support cards, securing its place in various mid-to-high-tier deck builds.
