Bountiful Artemis

Bountiful Artemis was originally released as a Super Rare in the 2005 set Dark Revelations 2, but its appearance as an Ultimate Rare in OTS Tournament Pack 1 (OP01-EN001) marked a significant moment for the game's competitive circuit. These packs were distributed exclusively to Official Tournament Stores to reward players for participation in organized play, effectively acting as a high-tier prize for those engaged in the local tournament scene. This specific version, characterized by its textured foil etching and elevated rarity, was produced to incentivize community growth and recognize dedicated duelists.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic conventions of early 2000s trading card art, focusing on mythical iconography that aligns with the Fairy-type archetype. As a key engine piece for counter-trap decks, the card's visual identity—centered on the goddess Artemis—was crafted to convey a sense of vigilance and rapid response. The Ultimate Rare treatment applied here was designed by Konami to distinguish tournament-exclusive cards from standard releases, providing a tactile, premium finish that has since become a hallmark of high-status competitive collectibles.
