Broken Line

Broken Line was originally introduced as a common card in the 2017 Maximum Crisis booster set before being reprinted as an Ultra Rare in the 2018 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. This particular product was designed to consolidate key cards from the previous year's major expansions into a single collection, offering players a more accessible way to acquire competitive staples that had previously been scattered across multiple sets.

The card features an illustration consistent with the sci-fi and industrial aesthetic common to trap cards from that era of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. Its design focuses on reactive, chain-based utility, intended to disrupt an opponent's play by negating spells and traps. Upon its release, it was regarded by the community as a niche tactical tool, valued primarily for its potential to punish opponents who played cards in the same column as a previously played spell or trap.
