Card Destruction

Card Destruction was originally introduced in the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as a powerful tool for disrupting both players' hands. Functioning as a normal spell card, its effect requires both players to discard their entire hands and draw the same number of cards they discarded. By forcing a hand refresh, the card has historically been used to set up complex graveyard-based combos or to punish opponents holding onto critical resources.

The OTS Tournament Pack 9 version, released in 2019, represents a distinct aesthetic iteration of this classic card. As a prize support item for Official Tournament Store events, it was issued with a super-rare holographic treatment. While the original design language by Konami's R&D team remains consistent, this specific release serves as a sought-after aesthetic upgrade for competitive players who prefer the matte-foil finish characteristic of the OTS super-rare printings.
