Card Ejector

Card Ejector was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years Mega Pack, released in 2011. This collection served as a tribute to the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era, gathering iconic cards and staples that defined the competitive landscape of the series' second iteration. As a super-rare card within this set, it reflected the thematic design philosophy of the era, focusing on tactical graveyard manipulation.

The card’s design features a mechanical, cybernetic aesthetic consistent with the Machine-type monsters prevalent in GX-era card pools. Created to provide players with a specific counter-measure against graveyard-reliant strategies, its effect allows for the targeting and banishing of cards from an opponent's discard pile. While it remained a niche utility card in the broader meta, it is recognized by collectors as a piece of the GX-era expansion, representing the shift toward more interactive monster effects that defined mid-2000s card design.
