Catapult Turtle

Catapult Turtle was originally introduced in the early years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, designed as a level 5 effect monster capable of sacrificing other creatures to deal direct damage to an opponent. Its inclusion in the Legendary Collection 3: Yugi's World Mega Pack served as a nod to the character Yugi Muto, who famously utilized the monster during the Duelist Kingdom arc of the original manga and anime series. The design of the card, featuring a turtle with a mechanical launcher, reflects the industrial and tactical aesthetic typical of the game's initial monster pool.

The artwork for the card was produced as part of the extensive illustration catalog commissioned by Konami for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Within the context of the Mega Pack, the card was reprinted to provide players with accessible, updated versions of iconic cards from the series' history. The rare classification in this specific set distinguished it visually from its original common or promotional printings, helping to maintain its status as a recognized strategic piece among casual players and collectors of Yugi-themed sets.
