Chaos Necromancer

The Chaos Necromancer was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Magician's Force expansion in 2003. The card features an effect that scales its attack points based on the number of monsters in the player's graveyard, a mechanic intended to reward players for filling their discard piles during the game. It belongs to the Dark category of monsters, reflecting the darker aesthetic themes often found in the early years of the game's creature design.

The Dark Revelation Volume 2 set, which included this reprint under the code DR2-EN017, was released to provide players with easier access to cards from earlier expansions. As a common rarity card, it was widely distributed, making it a staple for casual deck-building rather than a high-value collector's piece. The illustration remains consistent with the dark fantasy art style characteristic of the era, emphasizing a macabre figure surrounded by spectral energy to visually represent the concept of necromancy.
