Constellar Rasalhague

Constellar Rasalhague was released as part of the Duel Terminal 7b set, which introduced the Constellar archetype to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set was notable for its integration with the game's cabinet-based arcade system in Japan, which featured unique mechanics and a distinct narrative arc focused on the battle between the Gem-Knights and the Vylon forces. The card itself, named after the star Alpha Ophiuchi, serves as a representative of the Constellar theme, which draws heavily from celestial and mythological motifs.

The card was designed to support the Constellar archetype's playstyle, which revolves around Xyz Summoning using monsters of varying Levels, specifically Level 4. Featuring artwork that highlights the Constellar aesthetic of armored, stellar-themed knights, the design reflects the collaborative effort of the Konami design team to create a cohesive synergy between the monsters' visual motifs and their in-game utility. Upon release, the card was received as a functional addition for players looking to bolster their consistency in rank-four Xyz-based strategies.
