Cosmic Compass was released in 2018 as part of the Structure Deck: Powercode Link, a product designed to showcase the Cyberse monster type introduced during the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS era. This set was crafted to provide players with a ready-to-play strategy centered around the Link Summoning mechanic, which had fundamentally shifted the game's mechanics the previous year.
