Darklord Nasten

Darklord Nasten was released in the 2018 set Battles of Legend: Relentless Revenge, a booster pack designed to compile highly requested, out-of-print, and previously Asian-exclusive cards for the North American audience. As part of the Darklord archetype—a series of high-level Dark Fairy monsters centered on graveyard manipulation—Nasten was included to help modernize the deck's speed and consistency, allowing players to tribute summon with fewer resources by discarding other Darklord cards.

The card features the signature aesthetic of the Darklord series, utilizing a dark, gothic color palette that emphasizes the fallen angel motif. The design was crafted to balance power and utility, serving as both a formidable attacker and a engine for the graveyard effects that define the archetype's playstyle. Upon its release in the Battles of Legend collection, it was well-received by competitive players for providing a much-needed tactical boost to an archetype that had historically struggled with reliability.
