Darklord Nurse Reficule

Darklord Nurse Reficule was released as a promotional card for the 2007 video game Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Evolution on the PlayStation 2. As a tie-in incentive for the game's release in North America, this card was included as a physical pack-in to encourage sales among the franchise's growing player base. It belongs to the broader category of promotional cards that functioned as bridges between Konami’s digital gaming experiences and the physical trading card game.

The card features an illustration depicting a sinister medical figure, aligning with the dark, gothic aesthetic prevalent in the GX-era of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Its effect, which reverses damage-dealing effects into life-point depletion for the opponent, was designed to facilitate specialized burn deck strategies. Upon release, it was well-received by competitive players for its unique ability to turn healing cards into aggressive tools, establishing it as a cult favorite within the secondary card market.
