Darktellarknight Batlamyus

Darktellarknight Batlamyus was released in the 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG booster set Invasion: Vengeance. It serves as a key support card for the Tellarknight archetype, designed to facilitate easier Xyz summoning by allowing players to treat their monsters as Level 4 during the turn it is summoned. The card reflects the lore of the archetype, depicting a corrupted or evolved state of the character Satellarknight Altair, fitting into the overarching narrative of the Constellar and Tellarknight war.

The card's design and mechanical utility were crafted to provide the Tellarknight deck with a necessary speed boost, enabling players to access more powerful Rank 4 Xyz monsters within the game's competitive meta at the time. As an Ultra Rare, it featured the distinct foil treatment characteristic of high-tier pulls from the Invasion: Vengeance expansion, and it was generally received by players as a pivotal utility tool for maintaining field presence in a fast-paced game environment.
