D.D. Esper Star Sparrow

D.D. Esper Star Sparrow was released in the North American TCG market as part of Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars in 2013. This set focused on importing cards from the Japanese OCG Duel Terminal series, specifically centering on the Constellar and Evilswarm archetypes. The card represents the niche but thematic 'D.D.' (Different Dimension) monster series, which typically features extraterrestrial or otherworldly designs focused on banishing mechanics and self-special summoning capabilities.

The card features artwork consistent with the high-detail, energetic aesthetic of early 2010s Konami releases, designed by the internal team at Konami Digital Entertainment. As a Secret Rare, it was produced with the distinctive diagonal foil pattern characteristic of the Hidden Arsenal sets. While the card did not see significant competitive play upon its release, it remains a notable piece of the Duel Terminal lore, valued by collectors for its holographic finish and its place within the expansion's bridge between the Japanese-exclusive machine cabinets and the global card game.
