D.D. Warrior Lady

D.D. Warrior Lady first appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the promotional releases for the Invasion of Chaos set in 2004, eventually being reprinted as a Super Rare in Dark Revelation Volume 1. The card was designed as a strategic staple during the early competitive era, functioning as a powerful removal tool that allowed players to banish both the attacking monster and the lady herself. Its design and mechanics reflected the evolving tactical depth of the game, shifting focus from simple beatdown strategies to complex resource management and banishment interactions.

The character design was created by the Konami illustrative team to align with the Dimension Diver (D.D.) archetype, a series characterized by its focus on inter-dimensional exile. Upon its introduction, the card became a cornerstone of high-level play due to its versatility and ability to disrupt opponent formations. It remains a recognizable icon of the early 2000s meta-game, celebrated by long-term collectors for its lasting influence on the game's core rules and competitive philosophy.
