Desmanian Devil

Desmanian Devil was introduced in the Extreme Force booster set, released in early 2018 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set served as the final main core booster of the Arc-V era, arriving at a time when the game was transitioning toward new mechanical rules. The card was designed as a Rare-tier effect monster, fitting into the aesthetic of earthy, beast-type creatures that frequently populate these sets.

The creature is depicted as a robust, burrowing mammal, reflecting a common design motif in the game where animal-based monsters utilize specific gameplay mechanics related to the field or graveyard. While it was not a standout competitive staple, its inclusion contributed to the broader diversity of the set, offering players specific utility through its destruction-based effect, which aimed to punish opponents for playing multiple copies of the same card.
