Dimension Fusion

Dimension Fusion was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the early 2000s, gaining notoriety for its powerful ability to special summon removed-from-play monsters at the cost of life points. The card emerged during a period of rapid power creep in the game's competitive meta, as its design allowed players to easily recover resources that had been banished as a cost for other high-impact effects.

This specific iteration, DR2-EN095, was included in the Dark Revelation Volume 2 set, which served as a massive compilation release intended to reprint sought-after cards from the early sets for a wider player base. Featuring the characteristic super-rare foil treatment of that collection, the card's visual design follows the standard layout established by Konami, balancing iconic thematic artwork with the technical text that would eventually lead to its restricted and later forbidden status in tournament play due to its overwhelming efficiency in combo-heavy decks.
