Dogmatika Maximus

Dogmatika Maximus debuted as a centerpiece of the Dogmatika archetype, a faction central to the narrative arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game that began in the Rise of the Duelist expansion. The card depicts the leader of the Dogmatika nation, a character designed to embody themes of religious zealotry and militaristic authority, reflecting the overarching story of the 'Albaz' lore which follows a young man caught in a conflict between warring factions. The design aesthetic utilizes heavy, armored iconography and stark contrasting colors to convey the character's imposing presence and authoritarian role within the game's unfolding mythos.

This specific iteration, CH01-EN016, originates from The Chronicles Deck: The Fallen & The Virtuous. This release was curated to highlight the most significant narrative players in the Albaz storyline, offering players a comprehensive look at the lore through an all-foil format. As an Ultra Rare, it is noted for its elevated production quality, which serves to emphasize the card's mechanical significance as a powerful resource-gathering engine that allows players to send cards from their Extra Deck to the Graveyard, a tactic that has made it a staple in competitive deck-building.
