Doki Doki

Doki Doki was introduced as part of the Invasion: Vengeance booster set, which was released in the TCG in late 2016. This card belongs to the Rock-type archetype and was designed to facilitate board swarming by allowing players to discard a Rock-type monster to special summon one of the same level from their deck. It reflects the game's focus during this era on expanding utility for niche creature types and rewarding deck construction based on shared level attributes.

The card features artwork consistent with the whimsical yet slightly unsettling visual style common to lower-rarity Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters from the ARC-V era. While not a centerpiece of competitive meta play upon its release, the card is frequently cited by collectors for its unique character design, which fits the aesthetic tradition of inanimate objects given sentient, expressive faces. Its status as a common rarity card makes it a frequently encountered piece of the broader Invasion: Vengeance set architecture.
