Don Turtle

Don Turtle was first introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Pharaoh's Servant expansion in 2002. As a low-level effect monster, its design serves the utility-focused playstyle common in early-era archetypes, featuring an ability that allowed players to special summon additional copies of itself from the deck. This mechanic was intended to help players swarm the field, reflecting the game's initial focus on straightforward monster deployment and resource management.

The card was later reprinted in Dark Revelation Volume 2, which served as a compilation set designed to make older, out-of-print cards more accessible to a new generation of players. Like many cards of its era, the illustration reflects the whimsical, fantasy-driven aesthetic popularized by Kazuki Takahashi's original manga series. While it never rose to prominence in competitive tournament play, it remains a nostalgic artifact for players who collected during the hobby's formative years in the early 2000s.
