Duck Dummy

Duck Dummy was originally introduced as a common card in the 2018 Mega-Tin Mega Pack, a compilation set released by Konami to celebrate popular cards from the previous year's Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game expansions. The set served as a retrospective, gathering high-profile cards from sets like Maximum Crisis and Code of the Duelist to make them more accessible to players. As part of this collection, the card was reprinted to provide players with a functional monster card that fits into established mechanical strategies of the era.

The design of Duck Dummy reflects the whimsical and often surreal aesthetic typical of the game's monster roster. Its visual identity relies on standard fantasy card illustration styles, balancing combat utility with the thematic charm of the franchise. While not a centerpiece of competitive play, the card is recognized by collectors as a distinct example of the common-tier variety found within the Mega-Tin packaging, which was designed to support a wide range of deck-building efforts during the 2018 season.
