Elemental HERO Clayman

Elemental HERO Clayman originated as part of the initial Elemental HERO archetype introduced during the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era. Designed to reflect the themes of the animated series where protagonist Jaden Yuki utilized superheroes as his primary deck, Clayman serves as a defensive wall for the archetype. The card features a distinct aesthetic inspired by classic comic book art, emphasizing a rugged, earthen construct character that contrasts with the more sleek designs of other HERO monsters.

The version included in the Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years Mega Pack was released to commemorate the legacy of the Duel Academy setting from the GX series. As a common rarity reprint, this edition was designed to provide players with accessible access to core utility cards from the series' history. It was well-received by players for maintaining the nostalgic visual identity of the original release while serving as a functional piece for thematic hero-focused decks.
