Elfnote Regina

Elfnote Regina was released as part of the Blazing Dominion expansion, a set that solidified the high-fantasy aesthetic of the game. Designed as a Secret Rare, the card was intended to capture the ethereal nature of forest guardians, featuring artwork that emphasizes intricate, flowing linework and a muted, enchanted color palette. It emerged during a period when the game was shifting toward more complex, synergy-driven mechanics, positioning the card as both a tactical utility piece and a highly sought-after aesthetic centerpiece for collectors.

The conceptual design reflects a collaboration between the studio's internal illustrators and lead game designers, who sought to bridge the gap between lore-heavy character narratives and balanced gameplay. Upon its release, the card received praise for its unique effect-monster versatility and the detailed holographic foil application typical of the Blazing Dominion print run. It has since become a staple of the set's legacy, representing the peak of the mid-2010s card art design philosophy.
