Emergency Teleport

Emergency Teleport was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in 2008 within the Tactical Evolution expansion. It was designed as a powerful utility spell card, specifically engineered to support Psychic-type monsters by allowing players to special summon them directly from their deck, albeit with the restriction that the summoned monster be banished during the end phase. This design choice solidified its place as a staple engine for combo-heavy decks that require rapid access to specific monster levels.

The High-Speed Riders set, released in 2015, served as a notable reprint home for the card, featuring it as an ultra-rare holographic variant. This re-release helped maintain accessibility for players at a time when the card's competitive viability was fluctuating with the evolving game meta. The card's minimalist illustration and its ability to drastically increase deck consistency have led to a long, storied history of high-level competitive play, often sparking debates among the community regarding its power level and potential for future restricted status.
