Where it came from
Emes the Infinity was released as a promotional card bundled with the 2004 video game Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler for the Game Boy Advance. During this era, Konami frequently incentivized game purchases by including exclusive promotional cards that were not available in standard booster sets, aiming to build synergy between their digital and tabletop gaming experiences.
The card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Destiny Board Traveler release, focusing on the mechanical and celestial motifs prevalent in Yu-Gi-Oh! monster design. As a Super Rare card, it holds a distinct position among collectors who track promotional releases from the early 2000s, reflecting a period when Konami shifted toward tying physical card availability to specific media franchises and video game releases.
