Evigishki Tetrogre

Evigishki Tetrogre was introduced in the Duel Terminal 6a expansion, which arrived in Western markets as part of the Duel Terminal arcade-integrated card game series. This set was designed to advance the intricate narrative of the Duel Terminal world, a high-fantasy lore sequence involving warring tribes and mechanical deities. As a Ritual Monster belonging to the Gishki archetype, Tetrogre was engineered to capitalize on the water-attribute spellcasting theme, functioning as a tactical engine piece meant to facilitate deck thinning and resource replenishment during high-speed duels.

The card features an evocative, grotesque design that reflects the Gishki faction's reliance on forbidden, life-draining rituals. Illustrators for the Duel Terminal series utilized a distinct, layered artistic style to differentiate the archetypes, often emphasizing organic mutation and mystical armor. Upon release, the card was received as a functional necessity for Gishki-based decks, prized by competitive players for its unique ability to search for ritual components while maintaining board presence, effectively bridging the gap between defensive utility and offensive momentum.
