Evilswarm Mandragora

Evilswarm Mandragora was originally introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars expansion, released in 2013. It belongs to the Evilswarm archetype, a faction of corrupted versions of previous Duel Terminal monsters. The design reflects a thematic shift toward aggressive, swarm-based playstyles, allowing players to special summon the monster from the hand if they control fewer monsters than their opponent.

The War of the Giants Reinforcements set, which includes this version of the card, was released in 2014 as a supplemental product designed to provide players with easier access to popular cards from earlier expansions. As a common rarity reprint, this specific version of Mandragora served a functional role for budget-conscious deck builders, ensuring the card remained accessible for competitive play in the Evilswarm deck strategy that defined that era of the game.
