Evolzar Solda

Evolzar Solda was introduced in the 2012 booster set Order of Chaos as part of the Evol archetype in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This set marked a significant expansion for the Evol faction, focusing on the synergy between Reptile-type and Dinosaur-type monsters. Designed as a high-level Rank 6 Xyz monster, it was intended to serve as a powerful defensive cornerstone for players utilizing the Evoltile and Evolsaur engine, offering protection against monster effects that would otherwise disrupt their field presence.

The card's aesthetic reflects the mechanical, prehistoric theme characteristic of the Evol series. As an Ultimate Rare, this specific version features a distinct etched foiling process applied directly to the card surface, which was a highly sought-after rarity variant during the GX and Zexal eras of the game. Upon its release, it was well-received by competitive players for its ability to anchor a board, becoming a staple tool in its specific niche before the game's evolution eventually shifted toward faster, more aggressive playstyles.
