Exxod Fires of Rage

Exxod, Fires of Rage made its debut in the 2025 Mega-Pack Tin, serving as a modern expansion to the thematic legacy of the Sphinx monsters originally introduced in the early 2000s. The card was designed to revitalize the Earth-attribute, Rock-type support archetype, offering players a way to integrate the colossal Exxod, Master of the Guard into faster-paced contemporary gameplay. Its inclusion in this specific set was intended to provide long-time collectors with a sophisticated, high-rarity foil variant of a classic-inspired effect.

The artistic direction for this secret-rare printing emphasizes a holographic texture that highlights the destructive, elemental nature of the titular character. Illustrators focused on a dynamic visual style consistent with the current aesthetics of the trading card game, aiming to bridge the gap between retro monster designs and modern foiling techniques. It was released to appeal to both competitive players seeking functional utility and collectors who prioritize the premium tactile quality and visual depth characteristic of secret-rare card stock.
