Fengli the Soldrapom

Fengli the Soldrapom was released in the Burst of Destiny booster set, which launched in the trading card game's core series in 2021. As a common rarity effect monster, it was designed to integrate into the 'Swordsoul' archetype, a group of Wyrm-type monsters themed around traditional Chinese aesthetics and elemental swordsmanship. The card serves as a utility piece, providing players with graveyard recursion and special summoning capabilities to facilitate high-level Synchro plays.

The card’s artwork reflects the intricate, thematic consistency of the Burst of Destiny set, which focused heavily on shifting battlefield dynamics. While the specific illustrator is not publicly credited by name, the design aesthetic aligns with the broader series' move toward ethereal, warrior-like character models that emphasize movement and fluid energy. Upon release, it was well-received by competitive players as a stable, accessible engine component for consistency within the Swordsoul deck strategy.
