Fiend Reflection #2

Fiend Reflection #2 was released as part of the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon booster set, the inaugural English-language expansion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Introduced to Western markets in 2002, this set served as the foundation for the game, adapting monsters, spells, and traps from the original Japanese manga and anime series to establish the core mechanics and aesthetic of the trading card format.

The card features an illustration consistent with the early visual language of the franchise, which drew heavily from dark fantasy and mythological iconography. Designed by Konami's creative team, the artwork sought to provide a sense of depth to the game's initial roster of normal monsters. Like many common-tier cards from this debut set, it was primarily intended to flesh out the game's starter pool, serving as a tactical filler for players building their first decks.
