Filia Regis

Filia Regis, cataloged as ALIN-EN037, emerged as part of the Alliance Insight set during a period when the trading card game shifted toward intricate, narrative-driven fusion mechanics. The card was designed to anchor the set's thematic focus on royal lineages and tactical synergy, requiring players to synthesize specific low-level units into a singular, high-utility combatant. It serves as a representative example of the era's aesthetic, which emphasized high-fantasy illustrations and foil-embossed detailing to distinguish the super-rare tier.

The artistic direction for this piece sought to capture an ethereal, regal atmosphere, utilizing a color palette heavy in cool violets and gold to convey status within the game's lore. Upon its release, the card was received primarily as a strategic tool for mid-tier decks, with collectors noting the balance between its complex summoning requirements and its defensive capabilities. It remains a hallmark of the Alliance Insight expansion, documenting the design philosophy of balancing mechanical depth with a polished, thematic visual style.
